The main type of cigars was tobacco, according to the writer this kind can left you so dizzy after trying it and keep vomiting because of the nicotine in it, then day by day they start to get used to it which can make their minds so out of world. In addition, the smoker body become more depended on the nicotine with everything happens to them they end up smoking. However, this kind of addiction is bad and danger for health because of the diseases it can cause such as cancer. Cancer has so many types but the one smoking can cause is the lungs and 90% of people who have lung cancer is because of the cigars. Also there is the other disease of lungs that smoking can cause called chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD that can drive to death. Section 3

Article title is Smoking, health knowledge, and anti-smoking campaigns: An empirical study in Taiwan, the article was talking first about how cigarettes produced and then how it became famous and some of the results that smoking caused then it ended by talking about anti-smoking and its types. The article was mixed between qualitative and quantitative information. The results of this article how to find wiser and healthier society. After all, it was a fully information article it talked about smoking.

Section 4
The information in this article were very helpful especially when they talked about each part with its specific parts such as, anti-smoking policies were about three types and each of them has a job to do. First, estimating the price elasticity of cigarettes is the common approach to evaluate the effect of tax policy on cigarette consumption. Second, the impact of anti-smoking regulations is measured by a regulation index or a set of dummy variables, which reflect the severity of C.-R. Finally, a time dummy variable is used in the time series study to measure the effect of the information and health warnings on smoking during the years of the anti-smoking campaign. I find this kind of article so beneficial because it had some statistics about number of smokers and nonsmokers in place such as Taiwan. Also, there were some interviews questions that the writer did and there are numbers of smoking results too. It is a very formal and helpful article which left you with answering all questions with words and numbers and never let you get the chance to think of something or left with any lost information. However, I would like to know how it will be the smoking in the future will it disappear or will it grow with us?
Section 1

I used the search words History of smoking

Section 2

The third article was:

Section 3

The article title is active smoking and a history of smoking this talks about the smoking around the world by steps. The article was mixed it has so many numbers which can make it quantitative also it included the explanation by words which is qualitative it wasn’t a too long article but medium and included a lot of information that helps the reader to read it all. The rustles of the article is that the cigarettes became very popular in a small period of time. However, this article needs some margins to add the meaning of some words.

Section 4

The article included a good amount of information about the smoking and it is history around those past years, even if that was in a small party but it was helpful to the reader. Smoking hasn’t that long history because it became worldwide in a very short time and that also helped the economy of a lot of countries before knowing it is affects to the bodies and others. In this present re-investigation (at age 77) 839 men gave informed consent to participate. Those information are good for many ages to read and it has a few hard words but it still good to be read. Also this article studies the history of number of smokers and quitters in specific years. In addition, the age of smokers from between how many. For example Information on smoking habits and smoking duration were obtained by interviews at age 50 and 70 or by questionnaires at age 60 and 77. It is a good article and I respect whoever worked on it, but what we need to know more about smoking some information about the first smoker for example who got the first box of cigarettes, these things that we are curious about.

Section 1 – Research Questions

Primary research Questions:

Have you heard of Global Warming?

Subtopic Questions:

To what extent are you impressed with the problem of Global Warming?

Do you think Global Warming will change the topography of the planet?

Are you interested in knowing the effects of the Global Warming?
Section 2 – Background Report Summary

This background report describes global warming and climate change which affect health and weather. Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth’s climate. Firstly I will look at the causes of global warming and describe it to know how we can avoid it. Also I will look at effects and describe them.
First of all, there are many causes of global warming and one of these causes is human activities by clearing forests that releases large amounts of carbon dioxide. Worldwide deforestation means we don’t have as many trees to absorb the extra carbon dioxide. This means more of it stays in the atmosphere, trapping more heat. Also greenhouse gases: when we extract and burn fossil fuels such as coal or petroleum, we cause the release of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping “greenhouse gases” into the atmosphere.
However there are many effects of global warming. Global warming can affect the weather and create more storms. Global warming also affects temperature and the average of the temperature increases and that makes cold winters and hot summers.

Section 3 – Questionnaire Results

It’s so important to know how the people care about Global Warming, but after we saw the results of the survey and we compared it with the number of the people who answered the survey questions it seems like people have a good awareness about the Global Warming problem.
In the first section, we asked them  scientific questions about global warming then we did a second indirect section; we asked them their opinions and if they’re interested to know more information.
The questions started with “Have you heard about global warming?” 25 people answered the question directly with yes. “To what extent are you impressed with the problem of Global Warming?” 10% answered with good and weak, 80% answered with average. “Do you think Global Warming will change the topography of the planet?” 10% answered with no and the other 90% answered with yes. “Do you expect increased flooding as a result of Global Warming?” 88% of them choose yes, 12% choose no. 96% of the people are interested to know about the effects of the Global Warming and 4% are not. “Do you think Global Warming will affect our health?” 80% think that it will affect and 20% answered with no. Also 96% have plans to avoid Global Warming and 4% don’t have any.

Section 4 – Discussion

As the result of the survey questionnaire that was distributed to 25 students attending Abu Dhabi Men’s College,  we noticed that many students have good awareness about the global warming and how it can affect the world badly, and some students have good solutions for this problem that can help the world. However, there is still a big number of students who want to know more about the results that global warming can cause to earth. We have to make more lectures for different ages of people to let them know exactly what it is and what can do to earth if we did not care about this issue. Gladly, those people would like to know about the problem and its effects on the world.

Finally, people should know how badly the global warming affect the earth and be wises when it comes to the solutions; also they need to work to save earth from any danger so they live peacefully.
